About the Collection
Their breakthrough scientific research identified numerous causes of thinning hair that are not yet being addressed in the market. With extensive patient experience and years practicing Clinical Dermatology, Dermatologists Steven D. Shapiro M.D. and Michael T. Borenstein M.D. Ph.D. recognized that their patients weren’t happy with the costly and marginal hair improvement products on the market.

After five years of rigorous scientific work on topical DHT (dihydrotestosterone) blockers, they formulated a sulfate-free shampoo with three naturally occurring, potent DHT blockers. Dr. Shapiro’s 20 years of clinical experience in hair loss and hair transplant procedures were critical to creating an easy-to-use product, while Dr. Borenstein’s intensive research background, with a PhD in Pharmacology, brought the necessary scientific knowledge to build the most effective formulation.
